SOLANA SUMMER KICKOFF: BERLIN EDITION! 🍻
Celebrating Solana Summer in Berlin with pizza, beer & frens at the idyllic Restaurant Schoenbrunn in Volkspark Friedrichshain. As always, we had a super fun evening surrounded by incredible people and awesome vibes - Solana Summer has definitely arrived!
SO MANY GOATS! ZUPATEAM at IslandDAO 🏝️
Many friends from the Solana community travelled from all over the world to meet, mingle and share ideas at the very first IslandDAO—a beautiful, multi-location, month-long co-working experience on the stunning Greek island of Crete. We were happy to co-host the "Goats on Jets" event bringing 50 attendees to some of the most beautiful and remote beaches of Crete for a day of sea, sun, and Solana!
And we brought so many of our community friends together to the Island!
Aachen hosts their 3rd Ecosystem Call!
The Aachen community keeps growing and one thing they really enjoy is getting together for the Ecosystem Call watch party!

Lorenz, one of our newest members from the Aachen Blockchain Club came to Berlin to visit. He had a nice day with Björn and Carlo and they went for some yummy arabic food for lunch.
Solana meets DeSci 🦠👩💻
Tamar and Rebekka joined the DeSci conference in Berlin hosted by MoleculeDAO and bio_xyz June 27, 2024 at the DeSci Church, a space which houses numerous forward-thinking Decentralized Science projects and web3 health and medical startups.
SPEEDRUN 3 Online Workshop with Jonas Hahn
The Solana Speedrun 3 Game Jam is the ultimate challenge to create web3 games in one week! On June 29 Solana Speedrun 3 opened with the theme “LAST FOREVER” and we enjoyed an Introduction Workshop by Jonas Hahn, a renowned figure in web3 gaming and DevRel for the Solana Foundation.
Jonas provided a comprehensive overview of getting started with web3 gaming tailored to the Speedrun Game Jam and answered all our burning questions, for example, a breakdown and analysis of the game engines Unity, Unreal, Godot, Phaser, and Turbo. SOLANA PAVILION EXHIBITION: NEXUS
The Solana Pavilion opened their first curated exhibition after receiving an overwhelming number of submissions from all over the world by an wide array of international Solana artists.
The opening of the show included a tour through the virtual space with its creators Nikita Freeboid and Victoria Pluto and many of the exhibited artists themselves. After sharing their work as well as going in-depth about the underlying processes and inspirations, the opening concluded with a live music set on the virtual stage and, of course, avatars having a lot of fun trying out virtual dancing.
ALL NEW CREATOR & DEVELOPER GUILDS TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE!🎨💾
June marked the launch of our new CREATORS and DEVELOPERS GUILDS - a bi-weekly virtual meetup series conceived specifically for in-depth knowledge sharing for anyone at any skill or experience level. The Guilds were conceived as a way for all our Creators and Developers to have a regularly-scheduled time and place for knowledge sharing as well as to build and strengthen our community.
We are also happy to announce that the GUILDS also now have a gitbook for growing a library of crowd-sourced resources, but the live meetups themselves take place in either the Solana Pavilion or x/Twitter for the Creators and in Google Meets for the Developers.
For the very first round of GUILDS meetups, attendees introduced themselves and were prompted with the questions about what they are most interested in as creators in the Solana ecosystem and for our second meetup, we were treated to an introduction to the BONK Art Masters Program by JT Liss, their Ambassador! JT will also rejoin us in July for an update - stay tuned for details!
Developers Guild led by our DevRel Björn took a deep dive into BLINKS - Actions on Solana.
From now on the GUILD sessions will be alternating on and off every other week with the TOWNHALL - which are regularly scheduled every Wednesday evening.
Superteam in Ukraine!
Rebekka Revel, Jonas Hahn (member & devrel at Solana Foundation) and Dan Albert (executive director of Solana Foundation) travelled to Ukraine to join Solana events, to represent at Eastern Europe’s biggest Crypto Event of the year & help host technical workshops. It was so great to connect with the Kumeka Team and all the talented Ukrainian builders!

Our round of three bounties for the projects Urani Labs, Bonny and Chomp wrapped up earlier this month with nine winners emerging from the fray. Congrats to all submissions for pushing these amazing Solana ecosystem projects forward through clear, creative communication! Here are the winners:

After they spent months in the Solana Labs Incubator in NYC we finally got to see what they’ve been up to!
Burger Game has come to an end!
After weeks of intense but fun games Burger Bob’s Burger Game is finished. The 49 last standing burgers voted for an equal distribution between each other.
Bonny goes into Open Alpha
Bonny is building an on-chain cashback app and is finally live for everyone to join and use it. The concept behind their product is as great as their team.
Thomukas1 releases a masterful tutorial series covering web3 gaming🕹️🧙♂️
This is the perfect base to get ready for your first web3 game during the Game Jam. Not only does Thomas explain everything super clearly, but he will be joining us IRL in Berlin on Tuesday & Wednesday to give workshops and in-person mentoring!

This month we are happy to welcome the following new members:
Maurice is an international Graphic Designer of mystery! He’s on the Staking Facilities team and did some really nice content & designs for the Guardians of the Multichain event during Berlin Blockchain Week!
Ash is “Always building” with over 15 years in tech, he is currently working as the COO and Co-Founder of Airsiders.
Gopi is core team member of TUM Blockchain Club, working on Solana Beach and part of the project SolBNB who secured the 2nd prize in the Consumer Apps and NFT Track at our 24-Hour-Hackathon during Berlin Blockchain Week.
Gustav started his crypto journey with Eth, but is “mostly into solana right now” he is working on Solana Beach and will be posting about cool apps and crypto narratives.

Member of the Month for June is June! June always brings the positive vibes and has been a key contributor throughout the last year, and she recently helped bring the local Solana community to a new level through her work with Ledger at our 24-Hour-Hackaton during Berlin Blockchain Week.
